Why lazyi.net?

When taking the required eye exam to be entered into kindergarden there was a problem found with one of my eyes. I went to see an ophthalmologist to have the issue examined and it was found that I had amblyopia in my left eye. What that means is that I have a lazy left eye. I had surgery preformed that year to help curve the effects of the problem and it worked to a degree. Today, it is still noticeable in some photos and when I look certain directions. Once my friends found out that I had a lazy eye, I was coined with that name. Hence, lazyi.net. Well, really it would be lazyeye, but who is keeping track?

Where am I from?

I was born and raised in the Minnesota until the age of 18 when I left for college in Washington. If you didn’t know that I was from Minnesota, hanging around me you will soon learn a bunch of fun trivial stuff about the state. My favorite way of doing this happens to be “Did you know that *BLANK* is from Minnesota?” Yeha, it could be on TV, on the road, or just about anywhere. I’ll find something from Minnesota.

Do you have a wish list?

Everybody wishes that they could have something that they currently don’t have. I am no different. You can see my wish list right here. Don’t hesitate to buy me something off of it if you are so inclined to do so. I can tell you right now I wouldn’t hold it against you if you did.

What do you do for fun?

Well, if you read my blog, you have a pretty good idea on what I do with my life. But, I guess you could say that what I write and what I do are two completely different things. What I do enjoy to do is relax and sleep. Yup, that’s it. Ok. Ok. What I like to do is hang out with my friends, play poker, kick back and play video games, and overall just have a good time. I mean, that is what somebody in their 20-somethings is supposed to do, right?

Why come all the way to Washington, I thought Minnesota is where it’s at?!

Yes, Minnesota is where it’s at, but I wanted to try something new. I mean, I was fortunate to have the chance to come out to the University of Washington to go to school, so I figured that after 18 years in the flat lands of Minnesota I’d try something different. Now, I have tremendous Minnesota pride and I can’t think of a better place to have been raised, so if you hear me calling out facts about MN, don’t worry, it’s what I do. But, in all actuality I really like it in Seattle. The rain is like the Minnesota snow, but much harder to tolerate. The mountains are never a sight to forget. So, I can’t complain about the move to Seattle. It has been for the best, to say the least.
