Yesterday I made the trip with my brother Paul to the new Seattle Public Library in downtown Seattle. From the outside it is very new-age and then once you step inside the architecture design continues. I could talk about this library, but I think I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
The very new-age exterior.
Again, another shot of the exterior
A shot underneath the building outside of the entrance on 4th.
Some of the new interior. The titles on a lot of the interior tell you where you are. This is telling me that I am in the Reading Room.
The trippy lime escalators.
The view from the escalator as we reach the top floor of the library.
The top floor.
They have the call numbers on the floor.
The inside of the elevator and the different floors that you can choose from.
This floor is really trippy.
The exterior of the building looking north.
