Minnesota Ice

Today was my first full day back home. It was a relaxing day with a nice lunch downtown with a former employer and hitting up Costco later in the afternoon. I have passed the Costco disease onto my mother. She is now infected. I still have Christmas shopping to do, I just hope that it isn’t that bad out when I go. However, for today when I headed downtown it took a little bit of time than usual. The traffic was moving, albeit slow, the entire way downtown. Continue reading “Minnesota Ice”

Winter Break Motivation

As I arrived at work today, I am came to the stark realization that I really don’t have much to do. I have been messing around with an on line image gallery, but I don’t know what I want to do with it quite yet. I’m thinking of coding some stuff for this site, but I’m too lazy to do so. Maybe I should finish some of the books that I started this summer. Well, it would be great to do all of those things, but I lack one thing: Motivation. Continue reading “Winter Break Motivation”

Randomness

I can’t say that I have had much to talk about the past few days. I guess some items of note are:

  • 498 “studying” plus booble with Trevor, Kevin, Anthony, and Jamie
  • Getting free lunch from Kidd Valley because I moved chairs
  • Taking a test in securities and realizing that it isn’t exactly what you studied

Yeah, I don’t know what else to write. I’m bored in the TE lab and waiting to meet with the Capstone 4. Yeah, still not really sure what we are going to do, but I am not that worried. Oh well, guess I should do something productive… or something.

Career Fairs

They were kind of what I expected, but also at the same time my preconceived ideas were way off. They were both worth my time and at the same time I wish I stayed longer and talked to more people. But, that is much easier to say now. Continue reading “Career Fairs”

McMahon 913

I am making my usual walk to work today over the University Bridge and then onto the Burke Gilman Trail when I walk by Mercer Hall and Stevens Court. When I passed Mercer Hall I was noticing that today there were these bright eyed freshman moving in. It only made me think back to the time when I first moved in to McMahon 913 my freshman year with the help of my mother. Continue reading “McMahon 913”
