Back in Minnesota

Well, I am back home in Minnesota. It is kinda of weird to call it home since I really do not spend that much time here anymore. But, this is where I grew up and it is nice to be back with the family and familiar surroundings. The plane flight was good and pretty quick too at 2 hours and 40 minutes. The part that seemed to take a long time was the time it took to get my bags. Maybe it was because I was the first one off of the plane and I was at the baggage carousel early, but it just seemed to last a lifetime. Continue reading “Back in Minnesota”

Collateral

Tonight I went to the Cinerama to see Collateral with Anthony and Geritt. The ramp that we parked in was so low that I was afraid of hitting my head on the I-Beams. Geritt’s antena on his truck was twanging all the way up until we parked. It was humorous to the point that it was silly. But, back to the movie… I had heard good things about this movie and wanted to see it. From what I read I was excited, but was I so excited when I left? Continue reading “Collateral”

Thursday Night At Alki

Tonight it was happy hour at Bamboo Grill on Alki with Jamie, Kathryn, and Anthony. The food was actually pretty good and not to expensive either. I would go back to that place again, if the transportation was around to get me there. But, the view was pretty cool from outside the eatery. Hopefully I’ll be back there again before the summer is over.

Then it was off to screwing around on the beach for a bit (see Jamie’s Blog for other pics) followed up with bubble tea for Kathryn and Jamie and more screwing around on the waterfront. Overall it was a good way to kill 3 hours on a night before a final exam. Speaking of which… I should maybe study? Nah.

One Test Down

I just finished my Music 117 test and I think it went pretty well. I mean, when the teacher says, “You don’t owe me anything for making this so easy,” you know you are bound to do well. I am shooting for the 4.0 in that class and I just hope that I didn’t mess up the scales to take that away from me. In either case it is now time to get ready for Scandinavian. Hopefully I get a little studying tonight, either before or after happy hour in West Seattle with Kat, Jamie, and Trotter.
